Hi Everyone,

Perhaps someone of you have also encountered error when trying to submit form while all required fields are filled in. I am testing the app now and sometimes it happens that some people cannot submit while they have the same access as those who can submit and they filled in all required fields.

It's a strange error, as after attempting 4/5 time those users can ultimately submit the form.

Someone told me that tis may be due to permissions to a lookup.

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you are using LookUp columns, you'll need to make sure the parent lists are also shared with the users for them to be able to use them. Can you double check those permissions for the users that are having issues?

@BCBuizer I think you may be right. I now will try to add everyone to the access list for the whole site, this may help. Do you think I may also be having issues with having a look up field for the office 365 users? I have like a "Keep Informed" field where the submitter may be adding their manager to get email notifications on request status, but those added under that keep informed field may not necessarily have the access to the List and SharePoint Website?

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you are referring to Person/Group type columns: No, you will not have issues with those. However, if you have a LookUp column referring a Person/Group type column in a parent list, you will have to share the parent list for users to be able to use it.

thank you, @BCBuizer . I will try that out with the users. This make sense and should work, I do have several lookup columns where I use the other list values. I granted the access for one user who could not submit, I will see if he can now submit with the contribute access to all lists.
