Hello,
I have an interesting bug I am trying to better understand. I have a SharePoint List with a customized PowerApp form that has a few connections included. The app has an Excel file that is in OneDrive as a data source and I'm writing a patch function to it. It works great for me and the excel file is in my OneDrive personal. I also went ahead and shared the file with the organization.
Now when I try to have a second user (not the owner) come to the list and try to open the edit form, They are first prompted to sign in for:
1. SharePoint (green checkmark)
2. OneDrive (sign in link)
3. Excel for Business (sign in link)
When they click the sign in link for #2 or #3, they are prompted with the below error:
We Werent' able to add this connection. Please Try Again.
User with object id '<guid value>' and scopes 'play_powerapps' does not have permission to call route 'PUT/PROVIDERS/MICROSOFT.POWERAPPS/APIS/CONNECTIONS/'.
Session ID: 43aa2034-625b-40b5-83cf-4fd9a0007a58
It sounds like the scope of these apps is limited to an owner type role when it comes to using additional connectors. Curious if anyone has gotten this error and thanks for any thoughts.
