Trigger flow on he on selects property of Button & Save Status Value to Status Update Value

I have two questions for this flow:

Question 1:

I am wanting this flow to trigger on the onSelect property of a button on a power automate app. Can I just put StatusNotificationFlow.Run() in the onSelect property or does it have to be in an if statement or something similar for it to trigger?

Question 2:

At the begging of the flow, I check to see if the Status Update is equal to Status. Is there away at the end to set the Update status to Status.

1. Yes you can directly use flow.run in onSelect
2. use response and assign response to required variable in power apps

I am a bit confused how to use the Respond to Power App or flow to set the status Update value to status value?

Respond with the value in power automate

and in the call in your power apps use `set(updatevaluevariable,flow.run)` so the response value would be assigned to updatevaluevariable
