Attachment content changing automatically to "Body"

Hi All,

I have a flow that was working flawlessly and suddenly that stops from night to day.

Seems like the on the Outlook Send email connector, the Attachment Content field is changing from File Content to Body when the flow is running.

Any idea why that is happening?

I have the same issue, thanks for posting.
But, the file content in my personal environment works, in my work environment it doesn't.
It's the same flow, except the environment.
I'll keep testing.

On my case, my file is in a Sharepoint folder.

It was working till 2 days ago.

Something has changed for sure.

I have used a different account in my work environment and the attachment is still blank.
It seems to me a setting in my environment somewhere blocking the content. A pop-up style block maybe? A security issue?
It can't be the flow because it works outside of my environment. The difference is OneDrive. One is Business the other isn't 😕

Hi all,

There is definitely an error somewhere that is changing the value of the Attachment Content on the Outlook connector to "Body" instead of "File Content".

Anyone from Microsoft to look on this issue please.

I still don't know why it worked in one environment and not the other when the Flow was the same but...I have it working now.

When attaching the document, you have to enter the code using the 'Switch to input the entire array' and then include "ContentType": which you can get from the metadata.

It will look something like this, for 1 file:-

"Name": @{outputs('Get_file_metadata')?['body/Name']},
"ContentBytes": @{outputs('Get_file_content')?['body']},
"ContentType": @{outputs('Get_file_metadata')?['body/MediaType']}
}
]

Any solution till now is not working inside an environment, so if anyone have any clue what is going on, that would be great.

I did not get what error it is causing , could you share the details of error ?

Also File Content is itself body of get file content's outputs

Hi All,

Seems like something changed lately as when I was using the attachment content as File Content, I was receiving the email with the attachment and was working fine. Suddenly, started to changed automatically to Body and I couldn't open the attachment.

Yesterday, 27/03/2024, I deleted the Body and placed it again and it worked.

I have no idea what was causing the issue and how it's working now.

Let's see for how long it will work till break down again...
