Hi,
I am exploring the options for sharing an App with our customers. As part of this I'm also thinking maybe using teams.
So I set up some tests.
I created a Power App in the normal Power App build site and then linked to a tab in Teams. Then in teams I created a Power App using the teams interface for building.
Then I logged on to my test computer as a guest account. When I tried access the Power App I created in power apps it said I needed a licenses or could start a trial subscription. Which I expected.
But when I clicked on the power app I built in Teams, it worked!
So my question is does anyone know if this is expected and will remain this way? Or is this an oversight by Microsoft that they will change soon?
Secondly if I did want to pay $10/user/mo for access to this app, how does that work? How do I associate that with the customer? Do I have to still add them as a guest in my AAD then assign? Do I send them a code? Does Microsoft handle that? Do I have to do annual or can I do month to month?
Also, if I pay for the access to an app would that cover them using connectors in the app? So Dynamics or SharePoint for example? Or do I need tog rant them a license to those tools as well?
Finally if I paid the $10/mo for them to have access would they still be able to use it through teams or would it just be stand alone?
Thanks,
Terry
