Hi

I have a Form, which has an optional URL field, to be passed into a SharePoint List hyperlink field, which is also optional.

The Flow I have was working whether there was a link in the Form or not, but has now stopped working, with the error:

Action 'Create_item' failed: The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Create_item' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: Input parameter 'item/BookingLink' is required to be of type 'String/uri'. The runtime value '""' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'String/uri'.

I have tried converting to null if the Form is empty,  but this does not work either.

    And now I'm having the same problem with date fields and image fields. I was trying to do it with Conditions, but I've got 4 already, and there are a lot of optional fields in my form!

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi @clairejk ,

    Please check this test:

    Run History:

    When link field and Date field all blank.

    Flow Configuration:

    Please try this expression:

    if(empty(DateDynamicContent),null,formatDateTime(DateDynamicContent,'yyy-MM-dd'))
    if(empty(LinkDynamicContent),null,LinkDynamicContent)

    Best Regards,

    Sunshine Gu

    Thank you, I have tried these, but it still gives the errors:
    The runtime value '""' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'String/uri'.

    The runtime value '""' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'String/date'.
