unable to authenticate with IMAP server

even after enabling IMAP in the settings when i use retrieve mail action in power automate desktop an error is shown as it is unable to authenticate with the server. i think it is because the new policy of google prevents it from giving third party access kindly suggest as to the remedies.

IMAP command failed: Login failed. The reason for this error message is that either the password you have entered is incorrect, or you have not used the complete e-mail address as an incomming mail username. Setting up your email is easy when you have the right host by your side.

What if my flow is a Desktop Flow I dont see any gmail connecto on the desktop

The same problem was faced by me
Create app password
Use app password as password and try
It worked for me.

It is Google app password
Generally we use send email
Imap or SMTP
There we need to give the maiid and also app password

You need to enable imap in Gmail settings
