For my SP List, I enabled content approval so admins can approve, reject or switch to pending on items along with putting a comment. Is there a way I can get a user to approve/reject an item but from PowerApp perspective?

Make A Power Apps Approvals Form
If you don't mind using Power Automate, then you can create an Instant Flow which will get SP Item ID from PowerApps and the desired approval status. Then using action set content approval status it will update the approval state.
