Automate Data Collection into SharePoint List on Quarterly Basis

Hi everyone,

I have four subsidiaries that I need to collect from them one single figure every three months. I am used to send each subsidiary an email at the end of each quarter and they reply back with the required number, then I input that into an Excel sheet for further analysis and comparison with previous figures. Now I want to automate this in the best and simplest way possible. I want the flow to run automatically after the end of the quarter to the designated recipient of each subsidiary, and then the data collected gets updated into a SharePoint list with the period date, data, and subsidiary name.

I have spent a lot of time figuring this out but got lost with many ways. I appreciate your help.

Hello @WAM2 ,

Here is my suggestion on how you can achieve this .

Microsoft Forms - Start Data capture for every month from subsidiaries using Microsoft Forms. Send them form in which they fill up data and submit.
SharePoint List - On Submit , write a flow to store flow data into Sharepoint List(you have already in place)
Schedule Flow - Once you have data in sharepoint , You can schedule a flow to run every end of quarter and do processing of data from sharepoint list.

Thank you @anupam8555 for your feedback, this is exactly what I tried to do but my requirement is to automate the whole thing from Forms to Scheduling, so that I do not need to worry about any delay in collecting data. For example, for period ending 30-06-2020, I need the form to be automatically send on 02-07-2020 stating that "please provide data for the period ending 30-06-2020". I hope you can give me some ideas to achieve this. Thank you
