Filter gallery on date

Thud... that's my head hitting the desk because I'm certain I'm going to feel dumb when I sort this out.

I have a gallery I want to either show all records, or only those not closed ON or BEFORE the date in the datepicker. EG: I select 10/13/2023, I only want to show open/active records.

It doesn't work...

If I use EITHER side of the OR operator by itself, I get the correct results...

Like this (open tasks)

Or...

Closed that day

I think I'm just burned out right now. Not sure. I guess I'm not doing the OR properly.

I seriously want to bang my head against the wall rn.

Thanks

    hi @STS1SS

    Can you please do this.

    1. Add ( ) on the other side of your Or, because it doesn't know if you mean date is this or that AND this

    or it means date is this || ( this and that)

    Also, Unless its a delegation reason I would also swap and say the Task Closed Date = selectedDate not the other way around.

    If you like my answer, I would really appreciate if you please Mark it as Resolved, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers

    @FLMike Thanks, I had already done that (), but here it is, same result.

    I had it the other way, round. As I recall it didn't matter, I am testing now... yeah so it doesn't matter. I'm curious why you mentioned that?

    Thanks for looking

    @STS1SS

    Because in some cases for Delegation, you would write it, how you have it and it stops it from doing it.

    OK, thanks. It didn't change anything. I did restart everything too. I'm at a loss.

    So, am I correct in my thinking that this should work?

    @MIS

    OK...

    The answer is be frustrated for 6 hours, restart several times, wait overnight, restart again.

    So I posted this after hours of work... changing the formula, re-arranging. EG: I don't see the difference between A=B and B=A.

    No luck.

    I restarted the app. Many times.

    I left it alone yesterday. I restarted it just now... now it works.

    This isn't the first time I've seen something like this. Is this just a thing? Is there any way around this?
