I try to insert a textbox (FilterTextBox) to filter the gallery, however, the function below gives me an error.
Can someone please help me? your insights and solution is much appreciated!
If you're intending to filter by searching (which I recommend), then use a Search function instead.
Search(Movements, FilterTextBox.Text, "name")
The search will allow a null value, and does a full-text search against your fields. That's right, you can specify multiple fields to search against! Those columns will need to be declared as strings, if you put in Search(Movements, FilterTextBox.Text, into the Items box, the autocomplete in the function bar will show you the columns in the correct format.

Also, that visible error is because you have text (lowercase), when it expects a property name like Text (proper-case).
You can mouse-over the errors and (sometimes) it will give you helpful info to resolve it. It will also show you the options that match (text would resolve to Text), in the formula bar.
Even I changed it to Text, still gives me the same error, any ideas?
Can you mouse over the error and hit PrtSrc (Print Screen) to get a screenshot of it?
It's either that the control doesn't have a Text property, or there's a mismatch to whatever Name is - presumably that was a column in your Movements table.
Invalid argument type. Name isn't valid. This identifier isn't recognized.
It would appear as though Name is not a valid column, or cannot be disambiguated, for your data source.

Hi @Georgetown15x ,
You can send the structure of Movements.

Remove what you have for "Name", in that formula bar.
Does anything show up as a recommended selection - including something like "cds_name"? The column's schema name (which is what it wants) won't be a friendly name like Name, it'll be the schema name.
Also that looks like you're using the Oakdale studio. That may be contributing to the issues, but what you're doing here should be supported. Probably just need to get accustomed to the syntax expectations within formulas.

Could you please guide me how to do that? thanks.
