I am trying to update an app thats already in prd with another date field that the user needs to enter.

all other dates it shows in the edit form cards are "DD/MM/YYYY" (AUS dates) but when I add a new one form the sharepoint list it comes up as "31/12/2001" (US dates)

I would like the new cards that are added to minic the ones already there with the AUS style dates

they all have the same locked down settings so theres nothing like Text(Today(),"[$-en-US]dd/mm/yyyy") in them

all 3 coming from the same sharepoint list so I dont see how adding a new one to the form makes it US dates when the others are AUS dates

and sorry the solution isnt to remove the old dates and reinset them so they show the US style dates.
