IN function for searching word

Hello everyone,

I have database1 and database2.

database1

Description
BODY, DUMP:CANOPY ASSY,XXXX
BODY, DUMP:LEFT ASSY,XXXX
BODY, DUMP:RIGHT ASSY,XXXX

database2

Sub Desc
Canopy
Canopy
Right
Right
Left

I have one text input control in screen 1, which is filled with Description from database1.

In screen 2, I have one text input control. I want that control will show a value from Sub Desc from database2 based on at least one word in Description.

Like this: If in screen 1: textinput1 = BODY, DUMP:CANOPY ASSY,XXXX,

then I want in screen 2: textinput2 = Canopy,

because BODY, DUMP:CANOPY ASSY,XXXX contain a word 'Canopy' How to do it?

I used this:

LookUp(
database2,
Text(textinput1.Text) in 'Sub Desc',
'Sub Desc'
)

but show nothing.

Thank you

    Hi @firda59 ,

    Try using the Lower function to negate the difference in capitals:

    LookUp(
    database2,
    Lower(textinput1.Text) in Lower('Sub Desc'),
    'Sub Desc'
    )

    It still cant work. By the way, I just remember that canopy in sub desc I got using formula. I mean like this:

    =VLOOKUP([@[No Drawing]];Table1[[No Drawing]:[Sub Desc]];2;0)

    is it affect to that formula?

    Hi @firda59 ,

    I just realized the two references are reversed:

    LookUp(
     database2,
     'Sub Desc' in textinput1.Text,
     'Sub Desc'
    )
