Organising files in sharepoint using automate

Hi,

I'm very new to Power Automate and wondered if I could get some advice.

I have started a new job recently and have been tasked with using Power Automate to try and better organise some files/folders in our SharePoint site. We are a construction/decorating company and have site staff who complete daily forms using JotForms which once submitted are emailed in to the office. When the email arrives we have used power automate to save the attachments into different folders in SharePoint. All of the filenames include a job number (e.g: A1234) and form name (e.g: scaffold inspection).

I have set up another flow to move these files into different folders depending on the job number that is contained in the filename.

I have been asked if we can organise these into further subfolders depending on the form name. Now I could set this up for each job number and form name using individual flows, however this feels like a very long way to go about doing this. Is there a better, more efficient way to achieve this?

Many thanks for any advice

    @JFTech ,

    Are the subfolders and folders going to be in the same library?

    You could just create a dynamic variable to build the Folder Path location (assuming the folder or subfolder is already there)

    Hello

    Can you please share the flow you used to move files into different folders depending on the job number that is contained in the filename?

    Hi @SudeepGhatakNZ

    Thank you for this suggestion. Are you able to provide any guidance on how I would create this dynamic variable? Sorry, i'm very new to this!

    Many thanks
