I want to delete a part of string label1 (which is in a gallery) and get the result in the same label without having to create a new label to see the result I found that the "Substitute" function is only usable with the use of the "Set function"; Set(myVar;Substitute(Label25.Text; "a"; "b") and that forces me to retrieve the result in another label which takes as text "myVar".
Hi, I believe the problem is you have a circular reference. Because you are in the Label25 control and you are trying to reference the Text property of it. I don't believe there is a way to make this work.SuperUsers, feel free to tell me this isn't true 🙂
I want to use the substitute function in the "OnUncheck" property of a Checkbox and
when I uncheck checkbox1 the Checkbox1.Text have to be removed from "ThisItem.address"
I'm confused because in your original question you said " I want to delete a part of string label1 ". So can you restate in great detail what functionality you are trying to get working. Thanks
I want to use the substitute function or another function in the "OnUncheck" property of a Checkbox and
when I uncheck checkbox1 the Checkbox1.Text have to be removed from "ThisItem.address" (the checkbox and the ThisItem.address are in the same gallery) .Thanks
