Multiple approvers - doing the same in each case but one case fails

Very similar to https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/Approval-required-multiple-approvers/td-p/69647 but just a little different.  All my cases work except case #3. I need a single user to approve  out of the 2 users it is sent to which are chosen from a dropdown list in the list form. (InfoPath form)

I am receiving error"BadRequest. The request failed. Error code: 'InvalidApprovalSubscribeRequestAssignedToMissing'. Error Message: 'Required field 'assignedTo' is missing, empty, or contained no valid users.'."

I have 2 columns that I look up email addresses from "Available Team Lead" and "Available Director".

I am using the exact same fields in the "Assigned to" so it should work the same. I tried creating a new case with the same values and it failed the same way. Also on the one that failed, I deleted all the dynamic content choices and then recreated them.

2 cases side by side

If I substitute only dynamic content choice "Requested by email", it works.

What else can I change?

In you side by side image - in #3, you are missing a semicolon ";" between the addresses!

    Kind regards, John

    Hi @ bhogan,

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned.

The error message told that there is something wrong with “Assigned to” field in “Start an approval” action. As @JohnAageAnderse said, the error in your “Start an approval 3” is because your mail address of “Available Team Lead” is missing a semicolon. Please check the mail address in the “Assigned to” field.

If the semicolon is missing in the “Assigned to” field, the flow would run failed as below:

If I add a semicolon in the “Assigned to” field, the flow would run successfully as below:

If I add 2 dynamic content values, it moves the semicolon to after the first 2 entries. If I manually insert a semicolon between the 2 entries and save and run, it doesn't resolve the issue. If I enter 3 entries and delete the first entry, it works OK. It really seems like there is some sort of a glitch adding the first 2 dynamic content values.
