Toggle for implemented designation in Employee Ideas

I'm using the Employee Ideas app and am trying to add a toggle to identify whether a submitted idea has been implemented or not. I have reviewed and tried several Microsoft help posts with regards to creating a toggle to show Priority, but am running into an issue where when I change the toggle on one idea it's changing for all ideas. I can't figure out how to make the toggles independent for each idea so that when I change one it doesn't change them all. Any suggestions on how best to achieve this?

    1. Create a collection or directly use "AddColumns" on your main external data source
    2. Add a new column where patch default values as 0
    3. on the toggle on "oncheck " patch value for thisitem.NewColumn=1 and on uncheck mark it 0
    4. use the 1 value to show the idea is implemented in a label and use 0 value to show not implemented

    Hope this helps!
