Hi, I am trying to figure out how can I set up an area where the user will input information then on a separate area, the texts displayed will present the information associated with that data. For example: User types in a type of sea shell. Then on a separate area, the information displayed will be the species, origin, type etc.

The way I tried to carry this function out is by using a form but I don't think it works that well. The closest thing that I had gotten to is the "LastSubmit" function.

If you have a SharePoint list of sea shells with the name of the sea shell in the Title column and then extra columns that contain the other data, such as Species, Origin, Type you can try this:

Add a combo box and set the Items property to be the SP list containing the shells
Set the IsSearchable property to true, SelectMultiple to false. Set the combo box layout to Single and set the Primary text and SearchField both to Title (by clicking Edit next to Fields in the right-hand fly-out):

Now you can hit the combo box and start typing a shell name and you'll see the search results. Pick one.

Now add several labels to the screen and set each one to ComboBox1.Selected.Species, ComboBox1.Selected.Origin etc for all the bits of data you want to display.

Now when you search for a different kind of shell and click the result, those labels will change.

If you have more than 500 kinds of sells you'll hit a limitation with this technique, and you can change the app settings to go up to 2000. If you have more than 2000 then there are other more complex ways of doing this, but this will work up to those limits.
