Need help with Approval Flow and modification on an item to restart the flow

I am a newbie, non-tech, that thinks I have bite more than I can chew.  🙄  Any help and patience is appreciated.

So I have created a list in SharePoint for a homegrown solution for Team Members to submit requests for Time Off.

Via Power Automate I have created 2 flows - 1 for when the item is created, its send the approval via email and the response is recorded with the comments back into the list. It has the reminders as well and it's working fine.

On the second is where I'm having a small issue. I create the flow based on the Template for "When an item or file is modified".  The desire is, that after the initial request is approved, if there are changes to columns like - Start/end date, type, location, etc. the modification flow is triggered and a new approval is generated and send via email to the person selected to provide approval again and update the list back with the approval decision and comments.

It triggers on the changes fine. Get the email for the approval and updates the list...  Beautiful!, right!?? BUT then... it triggers another approval for modification. It just does it once!!! That's all. After approval on the second email it somehow stops.   I have been searching for an answer because I cant see why is triggering a second approval on this modified flow.  😕  Please, any help is appreciated.

Take a look at this blog.  How to avoid infinite trigger loop in Power Automate (tomriha.com)

The problem is the update at the end of the flow is triggering the flow again because it makes a change.  You need to use a trigger condition to prevent the repeated triggering.
