HI,
I have developed one app using power app, into which i create notes records and attaching captured images to that note as a attachment and saving notes record to CRM.
Further I want to download these captured images to local device to phone, but I was unable to achieve this.
I tried to use download and Launch function with filename but it expects http url but image captured is in a form of azure blob.
Thanks in advance!

    Hi @shady ,

    I think there is no really simple way to do this.

    You can store data to your local device using SaveData function in PowerApps, but it just saves data to your local device cache.

    As a workaround, you can save your Attachments in a SharePoint document library, retrieve a 'Link to item' and use Download function.

    Hope the following link helps if you decide for that approach.

    Hi @shady ,

    Do you want to save images taken by camera in powerapps to local?

    Firstly, let me explain why the image is saved as a form of azure blob in powerapps.

    Actually, images taken in powerapps is saved as cache in powerapps , not an image file.

    If you want to download this , you need to save it as a file firstly.

    However, it's not supported to create file in powerapps curently.

    You need to call flow in powerapps.

    In flow, you could  create an image file by using blob data in powerapps.

    Could you tell me where do you want to save your image file firstly?

    You need to firstly save the image file in one cloud data source, then save it in load.

    I assume that it is sharepoint document.

    I've made a similar test for your reference:

    1)In powerapps:

    insert a camera to take images

    set this camera's OnSelect:

    Set(image,Camera1.Photo)

    insert a button to call flow to create image files and save it to sharepoint document:

    ClearCollect(pics, { Pic: image, Name: TextInput2.Text& ".jpg"});
    //save captured images to a collection
    Set(stuff, JSON(pics,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData));
    //call flow to create image files by using blob data
    flowname.Run(stuff)
    //please replace with your flow name

    insert a button to download capture image to local, set its OnSelect:

    Download(Last(sharepoint doc name).'Link to item')
    //download this captured image to local please replace with your sharepoint document name

    insert a textinput to fill in image file name

    insert an Image to display the captured image, set its image:

    image

     469.PNG

    2)in flow

    trigger: PowerApps

    action:

    1/Initialize variable             Value: ask in powerapps

    2/Parse JSON                       schema:

    {
     "type": "array",
     "items": {
     "type": "object",
     "properties": {
     "Name": {
     "type": "string"
     },
     "Pic": {
     "type": "string"
     }
     },
     "required": [
     "Name",
     "Pic"
     ]
     }
    }

    3/Apply to each

    create file(sharepoint)    File content:

    decodeDataUri(item()['Pic'])

     Here's my flow in details:

    4601.PNG

     Then you could capture images in the camera, after you click the camera, the captured image will display in Image control.

    You could enter file name in the textinput. If you click "save image" button, your captured image will be saved to sharepoint docment, in which solutions it will generate an image file. Then you could click the "download" button to download this image file.

    Here's  a similar blog, I suggest you refer this about how to create the flow:
