Hi,

I am currently testing my form wherein whenever I open the form via list or link, the list will reset to default.

Is there a way to fix this?

PowerApps form when being accessed via link/list:

Also, I noticed the using save button is not working as well:

How are you emailing? Are you doing that through Power Apps or Power automate or are you manually testing this?  And where are you getting the link?

Emailing is coming from my flow via Power Automate which is outside of Power App.

    Found the solution here:

Under form screen set the following:

    Default mode: FormMode.New

    Item: If(IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected) || false,First([@'Source List']),SharePointIntegration.Selected)

Please ignore my resolution below. The form is still setting to default when being accessed.

Hi @ComicSansrival  I think you are trying to view an item or edit an item within the list and this is not showing in the form after the selection is this correct?

Can you try this for me:

    DefaultMode:

    If(!IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected),FormMode.Edit,FormMode.New)

    Item:

    If(!IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected),SharePointIntegration.Selected)

I think you are trying to view an item or edit an item within the list and this is not showing in the form after the selection is this correct?  Yes, that item is already on the list. So, expectation is when being access it should reflect the values of the items type/inserted when created/modified.

Tried the above, but screen is stuck at this message:

    Is this expected?

Hi @ComicSansrival apologies lets try adding back in the First function to the items property this is showing loading data as it cannot find an item to display:

    If(!IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected),SharePointIntegration.Selected,First([@'Source List']))

    Hi @AndrewR1,

I tried the "first" function, but it is showing the attributes/item data from other list item which is the oldest created item and not the values for specific list item I select.

I am guessing that you are right when it comes to the items property.

Hi @ComicSansrival if it is showing you the First Item in the list then this means that the selected Item is blank and you may want to check how you are getting this value? Otherwise it wouldn't run the first part of the formula as this runs when the selected item is blank! Double check how you are retrieving this maybe add a test label to show its ID?

I noticed that my Title column which is renamed to Query title is no longer clickable as. Is that a probable reason?

    ComicSansrival_0-1695891950775.png

My title column is autopopulated in Power Apps which as concat of 3 columns.

I got lost as well on your last comment. Can you please clarify?
