How to Disable Default NFC App on Android When Using Power Apps?

Hello,

I am developing a Power Apps application for NFC card reading to log employee check-ins and check-outs. I use the ReadNFC() function, which works fine. However, when this function is not active and an NFC tag is scanned, the default Android NFC app automatically launches. I am unable to disable this default app through Android settings.

Could anyone advise on how to prevent the Android system from launching its default NFC reader while my Power Apps application is running?

    Hello!

     

    I don't have an answer, but can at least point you to a forum where you may find one:

    Generally, functions only work when they are launched in the concept of Power Apps, anything external to the Power App isn't typically recorded. I.e. using an in-built NFC tool over something built into Power Apps will always be preferred.
