Alternative to Powerautomate Manual Trigger

Hi,

As a result of workplace policy am unable to get Flow add-in installed on Excel to manually trigger a flow for selected rows and although have managed a workaround using When a file is modified (properties only) and Get a Row to search for Key Value I find this unpredictable and unreliable. It also seems to involve Cancel a Flow Run to stop it going into a continuous loop because of Apply to Each being generated from using Dynamic Content. I would have shown you my work so far but not sure how relevant and just think I need some general advice please.

Is there a reason you are not using a SharePoint list instead of an excel file?

This will simplify your implementation.

Thanks for that. Could be an issue just inputting into Sharepoint but wondered if linking somehow from Excel into it would be a good solution?

Hi,

Thanks for follow up. Will have to use Excel spreadsheet for inputting but having problems exporting into Sharepoint automatically when new entries or data modified so would be grateful for any advice/links on that please. After that would like to send emails depending on drop downs selected so am wondering if would have to be 2 separate flows? Alternatively am happy to use Sharepoint trigger for when file is modified and then Excel Get Row but am also having problems defining Key Value when is derived from formula output so would be grateful for any help please on this too.
