Trying to add a co-owner to a flow

I have a flow set up this way.

The excel online file from which the data will be pulled is one another person's Onedrive and I will not be given access to that. So, I decided to try and make that person a co-owner to the flow so that they can create a connection to that file.

When I try to share it, the following screen comes up. Is there any way around it? Or another way for me to be able to do my task, which involves extracting a table from an excel online file on another user's onedrive, filtering it out to a few necessary rows, and sending it from my email to another person.

Unfortunately for Owners that's just how it works.

And no, since you are really referring to a Personal One Drive, as Business OneDrive, isn't really.. per se "That person's one drive, its everyone's with partitions for each person".

They would need to share the location with you specifically but again it depends on if its in the Business or Personal, as if its Business, I would suggest saving it into SharePoint and sharing the stuff from there.

Thanks @. Is there a reason that you suggested saving it into Sharepoint? The onedrive in question is a business onedrive.

My suggestion is because SharePoint is simply a centralized storage for everyone, so you are not giving people permissions to "your" space, you are simply giving them access to "space" (folder in this case).

Its not required, but centralizing SharePoint, where you can use a security group and add people, even progratically is simpler. Not required, but as things change, new people use it, new people take over management, its better than going, hey Bill you have to move that out of your Storage, because now Tiffany owns it.

Versus, not moving it if support / people change, you just add / remove people. its cleaner

    Hope that helps
