Hi Community,
I have a PowerApps with four text entry boxes, and a button to delete the uploaded information. How could I make this delete button only visit when any of these four text entry boxes have something written?.
Regards,
Francisco
@Francisco77 - basic example below:
If( Len(TextInput1.Text) > 0 || Len(TextInput2.Text) > 0 || Len(TextInput3.Text) > 0 || Len(TextInput4.Text) > 0, DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.Disabled )
If you're using a Form, another option set the Required property of each DataCard to true, and then check the Valid property of each DataCard.
If( Text_DataCard1.Valid || Text_DataCard2.Valid || Text_DataCard3.Valid || Text_DataCard4.Valid, DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.Disabled )
Thanks @Amik , but that works when all 3 entries have data, the "delete button" is visible, but how could I make it so that when any of the 3 entries have data, the delete button is visible, regardless of whether the other 2 entries are still blank? .
@Francisco77 - the title of your post mentions the Display Mode property, but I see you're also asking about Visible property. Try the below on the Visible property:
Len(TextInput1.Text) > 0 || Len(TextInput2.Text) > 0 || Len(TextInput3.Text) > 0 || Len(TextInput4.Text) > 0
I have also edited my initial response (I had it the wrong way around)
