Power Platform Community Forum Thread Details

Hi, All Experts,

I just wanted to get some advice form you all that is there anything like which we can build, as such that when a person selects the items in power apps Combobox, each item selection will be updated to different columns of SharePoint list. is that possible with the powerapps? or is there any method to achieve this target? if yes how ? if no what is an alternative to this?

Suggestion from experts is really appreciated.

Thanks

Building Power Apps

Hi @Tapesh ,

You can do this, but I can't think of a use case where this will work properly to select multiple people in a combo box and then writing their names into multiple columns. It sounds like you might want to put together a list of approvers or reviewers. What will work better is if you create a second list in SharePoint, and then update this list with the people (a list item for each) who you have selected in the combobox and then relate back to the main record with the ID column. You can then cycle through these users when you want to send the main list item for approval.

I hope this helps.
