On-premise data gateway - Sync SQL table changes

Hi guys,


I'm using a on-premise data gateway to connect to a local SQL table, I'm testing syncing changes from SharePoint list into the SQL table and thus changing things often - I find that each time I change something in SQL though such as the name of a column/adding a new one or setting a primary key etc I have to wait 30ish minutes for the change to be seen in Power Automate.

 

Is there any PowerShell command I can do on the On-premise data gateway server or something to force a sync like you can with ADFS? I tried restarting the gateway but that does not seem to do it and can't find any mention online on what it might be.

    The On-Premise Gateway VMs are zombies. They have no idea what you are talking about.  All the connection details are stored in the Power BI service.  When a query or mashup request comes in the Power BI service chooses a gateway cluster member and tells them what  query to run and which credentials to use.

     

    So you would have to "restart" the gateway definition in the Power BI service.  I am not aware of a way to do that.
