Sending email notification without necessity of being a member of group mailbox.

Hi guys,

I am having issue with my flow which is being triggered by Power Apps button. Currently, there is action "Send email from shared mailbox" which is working correctly for the members of the group mailbox.

However, the tool that I am developing will be used by 600+ users within my organization and therefore manually adding/removing members of the group mailbox is not the solution.

Is there any workaround how this issue can be solved without necessity of being a member of group mailbox? I saw some actions like "Send HTTP request to Sharepoint" to generate notification but I am not very familiar with that. Or perhaps if there is some No-reply mailbox with public settings?

Thank you for any help!

    Hello @jsarlii ,

I'm not a PowerApps expert, but isn't flow triggered by a button from PowerApps using the connection defined in the flow for all runs? That it doesn't matter who'll start the flow, it'll always use the same connection?

    Hello,

I am not PowerApps expert neither but I have noticed following:

    - button is using connection of the user who is triggering the flow by clicking on the button

    - the action "Send an email from a shared mailbox" requires user's access into this mailbox

The problem is that tool will be used within the whole organization and maintenance of mailbox accesses is definitely not the solution.

I am currently check if adding mailbox into the Azure Active directory and creating service account will resolve this issue.

I was hoping for easier workaround using another actions in Power Automate.
