Inconsistent behaviour with subgrid spanning multiple columns in section

I have a model driven app and I need to change the layout of one of my forms, but I've encountered some strange behaviour with the way the controls line up on the form. I have section which has three controls in it; a field control, a quick view, and a subgrid. I want these split into two columns, but with more horizontal space given to the subgrid. With the section set to two columns, and the field and quick view on the left, and subgrid in the right everything looks fine:

If I set the section to 3 columns, everything is fine:

But as soon as I set the subgrid to span 2 columns, it seems to enforce the column height for the first row, pushing the quick view down to below the subgrid, which looks absolutely rubbish:

Is there a way to make this behave nicely? I have a load of other sections on the form, so controlling the spacing with the columns on the tab isn't feasible unfortunately.

    Hi @PaulLF ,

    Could you drag this control?

    After drag -->

    Very strange - this worked on my test example but not on my actual form. I think it's due to there being a bunch of other sections on the form. However, I have gotten around this by moving the section onto a new tab, changing the layout, then moving it back onto the main tab. Thanks for your help @v-xiaochen-msft
