combo box not saving value in a form, keeps reverting back

Hi,

 

I have a combo box in a form that keeps reverting back to the value from before when I submitform to make the change in that combobox.

 

Update of the status combo card: cmb_ikc1_statusp1.Selected.Value

 

Items: ["Pending Review", "Returned to Preparer", "Pending Approval"]

 

DefaultSelectedItems: [Parent.Default]

    What's the DataSource for your form control? Is it a direct connection to the List/Table you're updating, or are you using Gallery.Selected or some other method?

    The data source for the form is IAMS_Controls which is a direct connection to the table
