How to add Numbers in PowerApps by keeping same number of digits

I have one text column containing numbers in it and i want to increment the number by 1 for the new items, but whenever i am incrementing the number, it is changing the number of digits.

For example:

Item 1: 0052

Item 2: 0053

Now I want Item 3: 0054 but 0053+1 is returning 54 instead of 0054. How can i increment the number in string column without changing the number of digits.

hello You can use the formula as below:

Text(yourPreviousValue+1,"0000") Text(11+1,"0000") //this gives output as 0012

I have one number field in SharePoint in which i want to store numbers of length 23 digits like 00000000000000000000023 But here also i am getting same issue and not sure where i can format the numbers similar to your response above.

Hello, If you want to store number with particular number of digits you have to have datatype as text and not number type.

You can display that number type column into powerapps with 23 digits you can use the formula:

e.g. text property of label should be as:

Text(youNumberColumn,"0000000000000000000000000")//23 times zeros
