Print PDF file passed from cloud flow

 Hi,

I'm trying to print a PDF that was created in powerapps using the new PDF function.

So far I'm thinking that I'll create a variable in desktop and pass the contentbytes from cloud into it.

The issue with that is that the variable can only be text from my understanding.

Can anyone recommend a way to do this? I'm assuming that there is some conversion from binary to text then back again into binary once in desktop??

Thanks.

Asaf

You can create the file via cloud flows by using the File system connector. Use the content bytes to create the file locally on your system. Then pass the path to the file as a string input variable to the desktop flow. The flow will then not need to create the file - it will simply need to pick it up and print it.

There is a way to decode base64 in PAD, too, but it doesn't seem to work the same way as in cloud flows. I've tried that in the past and found that creating the file via cloud flows and then simply passing the file path as input is a more reliable way.
