Hi everyone,

I'm trying to build my first PowerApps and struggling a bit with filtering and connecting dropdown fields.
What do I want to achiev:
I want to have two drop down menus:
I have a table structured like this:
Row 1 | Row 2
Topic 1 Subtopic 1
Topic 1 | Subtoic 2
Topic 2 | Subtopic 1
Topic 2 | Subtopic 2

Dropdown menu 1 is for the topics and Dropdown menu 2 is for the subtopics.
The second one should be a dependent dropdown list.
If I follow that guide,

it's just not working.

Menu 1 has the following Items formula: Choices([@EmployeeLocations].Themen)
If I replace "choices" with "distinct" its not working.
If I leave it at "choices" I have two times topic 1 and two times topic 2.
Therefore menu 2 only shows the one linked subtopic 😟

And the table is a lookup table.
