Enter Dynamics criteria in filters

Posted on by 10
Hi, there are some situations in which to configure logic in filters or automations, I need to dynamically reference the record where the actions is taking place.

How do I dynamically reference things in Dynamics 365 when configuring this like this?

For example, in "Account A", I want to filter a subgrid with a related table that include [Account Name] of things like this. Same for messages in the screen.

How is it done?

Thanks!

It is a model driven app. I didnt realised it would be automatically the dubgrid relevant to the record openned.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

are you talking about Model-driven apps?
If so it is quite easy, you just have to create a Main form and add the subrgid to it.

If there is a relationship to the Record, the modeldriven app will automatically apply the filter to only display related records.

If this answer solved your problem please accept it as solution so thta others as well can find it.
