Configure MS Power automate script to delete old backup files out of azure blob container after 30days old

I don't know if this is possible to do with power automation, but The flow is triggered at 2 PM UTC every day and involves interacting with files in an Azure Blob Storage location. Specifically, it lists files in a certain folder and checks if their 'LastModified' date is more than 30 days old, deleting them if the condition is met. I'd appreciate any guidance or suggestions to enhance the description or efficiency of this process.power.png

    Hi @Anonymous

I'm wondering why you need Power Automate here when the Blob Storage the capability of deleting the files after x days

All you need is use Blob Lifecycle Management and define a policy there to delete blobs if they are older than 30 days and rest it will take care

Check below link for more info

@Srini007 I just want to get clarification that by doing this I would not be deleting the whole blob itself and only the files older than 30 days with a lifecycle policy set up.

    Hi @Anonymous

Whole blob be never be touched and only the Rule triggers which days you have mentioned, to be fair with you I know the option only, but didn't get a chance to see in action

For more confirmation you can test yourself as well
