Hi,
My response is directly in response to "when I edit the excel file through MS teams it looks like Power Automate has some problems recognizing changes in this document or doesn't respond at all."
1. SharePoint is the file tool that is behind teams.
2. OneDrive is only used in Teams for sharing files between users and their personal OneDrive.
- If the documents that are not triggering are not in your personal OneDrive then your flow will not trigger. This is as expected as the Flow trigger "when a file is modified" is specific to your personal OneDrive.
The file must be located in a SharePoint for teams to interact with it. Even if it is tied to OneDrive as a shared document. you can read more about it here: Which Tool When: SharePoint, OneDrive, or Microsoft Teams | jumpto365 Blog
To find the document you are speaking of in teams use the triple dot (Ellipsis) and open the document in the browser. The URL will tell you https:// {SHAREPOINTINSTANCE}.com/Personal/{UserEMAILAddress}
OneDrive File Upload:

MS Teams Channel Upload:

Notice the difference; both documents are managed and maintained from Teams, The OneDrive is a Co-Worker's document. The MS Teams Channel is a shared document.
This maybe the reason you are unable to trigger your flow as the file itself maybe tied to your co-worker's personal OneDrive/SharePoint. MS Teams channels show up in power automate as a SharePoint; Where in group chats it is more likely to be individual user personal OneDrive's. If this is not the case I would have to suggest you investigate every document's URL to validate they are under your personal OneDrive as this is what Power Automate's action is looking for.
Suggestions:
1. If you move the files to a Channel "files" tab they will trigger when it is modified.
2. Validate that the trigger in your flow for OneDrive has the advanced option of including sub folders.
