Limiting emails sent by accident

Is there a way to configure the Desktop outlook connector flow to prevent accidentally sending multiple emails is rapid succession, that is 'spamming'?

Some of our work is with production accounts (no choice), and we'd like to include any configuration that would back stop a developer accidentally creating a bot that would keep sending, in rapid succession.

Normally looping is fine, but something that is a runaway scenario, we'd like to prevent.

Put some wait between every sending.

I was looking for something that limits the total number of messages sent.  I can see how a 'wait' will slow the flow down, but it will still send 1000 emails...?

Have you checked with your IT?  I wonder if this is a setting that can be set from an IT Admin standpoint.  Such as, any user is only able to send 20 emails per hour.  Or possibly, any user is only able to send 2 emails to the same email address in 10 minutes.

Otherwise, from a flow management standpoint, I assume you have "send email" inside of a loop.  You could put in stop gaps above and beyond the normal range of the flow, such as if you only expect 150 emails out of a flow, you put in a stop gap like this: "if %LoopIndex% > 200, stop flow." This would prevent a run off of any more than 200 emails.

    Best of luck!

Just found that a little while ago too.  Thanks!  I appreciate it.
