Extract a numeric value from an email text

I am building a flow where I recieve an email with certain information that contains an amount of a credit, what I want is to store that amount in a variable then use that variable in a condition that says for example:

  • If "Amount of credit" is less than or equal to 500,000
    • If yes send an email to the manager

I already tried but the variable identifies the amount as a text not as a number so the condition doesnt read that specific rule

    Create an integer variable and store the "Amount of credit" in it.

    It should do an implicit conversion.

    If that doesn't work try the int function, something like

    int(triggerOutput()?["Amount of credit"])

    But how does the variable knows where is the amount of the credit in the email

    Aaah! I see. I thought you figured that out since you said t=you were struggling with data conversion.

    Is there a sample email?

    If your email text has something like this, you can use the split function to extract the value.

    Hi XXX,

    blah blah blah

    Amount of credit: $23302

    last(split(Email text,':'))

    Here is an example of how I am executing the flow

    Is that format consistent for all emails? Can you use line breaks to split the text in multiple lines and then work with it?
