Hello all,I've used AI Builder Form Processing Models (4 Models) to Extract Data out of pdfs that are stored in SharePoint Folder (User will dump around 2000 files in SharePoint folder which will trigger Power Automate flow & the data will be extracted). My task is to display extracted data & corresponding pdfs (stored in SharePoint) in PowerApps to allow user to validate data. I'm able to display the Extracted data in PowerApps but still struggling with displaying pdfs. I've tried this https://masteroffice365.com/viewing-pdfs-from-sharepoint-within-powerapps/) approach but it takes Approx. 20 sec to display a pdf on screen. Is there any way which requires less time ?
Hi @Prajakta05,
Fetching the PDF content through a flow is the right approach to follow today. Here's another way to build the flow that might improve the performance: https://www.matthewdevaney.com/power-apps-view-a-pdf-stored-in-a-sharepoint-document-library
Hope this helps!
Hello,My team is now able to display the extracted data as well as pdfs using PowerApps. The app is working well on the account from which it is created, I tried to share the app with my collogues by giving access of the following-
1. PowerApps App
2. Power Automate flow
3. OneDrive access (Initially we were using SharePoint, but now we are using OneDrive)but following error is thrown & pdf is not displayed-
We are not able to solve this!
Hi @Prajakta05 - wow, that app looks really nice! Congrats!
Was it working before when you were using SharePoint and started failing when switching to OneDrive? Are you getting any error in the flow that is associated with the app that downloads the PDF content?
We were facing same issue with SharePoint. Yes, we are using PDF Content to display the pdf in the same app.We are using the following Power Automate flow to display the PDF.
Also, following flow gets triggered when user clicks on a view icon on PowerApps App-
Few people are able to see the PDF but few are not, don't know what's the issue, just can't spot it.
Thanks for sharing @Prajakta05!It seems to be a permission issue. When running a flow from Power Apps, the credentials used in the flow are the ones from the user using the app. Do your colleagues that are getting the error, have access to that SharePoint site? In other words, can they login with their credentials into the SharePoint and see the PDF there?
Users & Owner are able to see the SharePoint site & the pdfs as well after logging in with their credentials.
Thanks @Prajakta05. Could we try the following? Have one of the users that is facing the issue build the flow from scratch and call it from a new canvas app. If they do that - do they also get the error?
