Load a Subset of Data into a Collection

Hello Community,

I am struggling to find a solution to something that I thought should be fairly straight-forward. I have a SharePoint list with 3 columns:

  • Product
  • Component
  • Weight

In the app that I am building, the user will select first the Product they are working on. Based on the product, I need a collection that will have a list of the components and their weights. So far, I have been able to make a collection that has a list of the components (e.g. Column 1; Rows 1-10 in the collection is the correct list of filtered components by product), and a list of weights (e.g. Column 2; Rows 11-20 in the collection is the correct list of filtered weights by product). However, I cannot get these two columns to relate to each other.

This is how I am doing this so far:

ClearCollect(Collection_ComponentScore,Filter(SP_ComponentsByGroup,Group=Var_Group.Name).Component,Filter(SP_ComponentsByGroup,Group=Var_Group.Name).Weight)

Can someone please shed some light on how I can set up my collection?

Thanks!

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    I think this is what you are trying to do

    ClearCollect(
     Collection_ComponentScore,
     ShowColumns(
     Filter(
     SP_ComponentsByGroup,
     Group=Var_Group.Name
     ),
     "Product",
     "Component",
     "Weight"
     )
    )
