How to get value of Combo Box allow multiple selection off

I keep getting errors trying to replace the drop down I had working in this formula with the combo box. I set the multiple selections to OFF. It was previously a drop down but I wanted to be able to search it so I tried to change it to a combo box but I can't get the value to check if it is blank.

If(IsBlank(CategoryIdSelected.SelectedText.Value),"NULL", CategoryIdSelected.SelectedText.Value),
If(IsBlank(CharityId.SelectedItems),"NULL", CharityId.SelectedItems),

SelectedItems is a table, so IsEmpty() is appropriate rather then IsBlank()

Just replacing IsBlank with IsEmpty still gives an error, but thanks.

Try this - it works better on combo boxes to detect that nothing is present in them.

If( Len(CategoryIdSelected.Selected.Value) = 0, "NULL", CategoryIdSelected.Selected.Value )
