Maximum number of users per license

I am creating an application for an event that will require a hired staff of about 40 using an application to keep things running. All staff will be using the application under the same user (mine) since this is a one-time thing.

Are there any limitations I need to be aware of? Will there be any issues with 40 or so users on the same app, and what is the maximum amount of different users that can operate on the same license?

Thanks.

The amount limit of logins and usages for single one Office 365 account is based on Office 365 Subscription.

Please check and see if the following article would help in your scenario:

    https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-to-increase-device-limits-for-office-365-consumer-subscripti...

For Office 365 Home subscription, it allows 6 users to sign in same account at the same time (Since October 2).

For Office 365 Personal subscription, it only allow one user to sign in at the same time, and limits subscribers to one PC or Mac and one tablet.

For Office 365 Business subscriptions, it could allow 300 users to sign in same account at the same time.

More details about the Office 365 Subscriptions, please check the following article:

So, does that mean I can have 300 different people signed into powerapps on different devices using the same license?

I know its only for a single one-off event, but you can't ask us to condone you breaking your licensing agreement with Microsoft. This could impact other parts of your business if your agreement with Microsoft is broken.

Please see page 2 of the licensing guide for the Power Platform - your usage described would be multiplexing as the 40 users should each be using their own account and be licensed.

So to answer your question, the maximum number of users that can operate under a single license is 1.

    Cheers,

The Office 365 Business licensing says collaborate with 300 people, that still means you need one license for each user in the company but you can create a meeting with up to 300 people using MS Teams.

If you have counter evidence can you please provide a link to an official Microsoft page where it says 300 people can log in to the same account?

Power Platform licensing limits are enforced separately to M365 licensing and are as I described above.

Technically possible but as @iAm_ManCat  stated. We do not and will not condone this as this goes against the licencing model that Microsoft has implemented.
