Launch() URL from Collection not working

Hi all,

I'm having some trouble launching a URL.

The data source, is a gallery, which uses a collection of an SQL db, which stores Twitter "Media URLs", when a flow is started, among other pieces of data.

I've created a button, given it the following formula in the OnSelect: "Launch(NewsfeedScreenGallery.Selected.SourceURL)"

Yet, when I click the button, which opens a new tab, the below image is shown.

Is this an Apps, or Automate issue? And has anyone experienced this?

Hi @wilfordm81 ,

Assuming you have a valid URL in the Text field SourceURL and this field is available in the Gallery Items, you should be able to launch it from the gallery OnSelect with

Launch(ThisItem.SourceURL)

Thanks for responding!

My apologies as I didn't clarify, the button is outside of the gallery. However, I've tried placing a button in the gallery, and it doesn't seem to be working either. So now I'm lead to believe it could be the link.

You wouldn't happen to know of an expression which would collect the Twitter page URL in a Flow, instead of the Media URL, as it seems to be unhappy with this..

Hi @wilfordm81 ,

You just need a valid URL in the field - I am not a Twitter user to any extent.
