Extract data from rich text field as plain text and save as csv file

Hello,

I got a sharepoint list which has a rich text field (named "Latest status"). I am building a flow to export the list as an csv file every week. "Latest status" data become html code in the csv file which is very difficult to read in excel. I would like to capture the body rich text field as plain text. I cannot make that field as plaint text in sharepoint list because the team would like to have format editing. I've tried to use "Html to text" action but it concats the latest status data of all records. May I seek your help to advise how can I export the records into csv in plain text? Below is the flow I made.

I got below csv. Is there any way to remove the html tags and export plain text to the csv only?

Thank you for your help!

    Hi @FrancescaLaw ,

First, you can try to replace those html statements with split().
Or you can use an empty array to save the data you want without the select action, and then use the Html to text action when appending.

    Hi Dezhili

thank you for the explanation though what is item - column 1 and column 2 in this? (item())

I'm trying to achieve something similar though it is multiple lines of text with append changes to existing text.

    Hello,

I've added something else in the flow so that I can make a more descent file name. Below is the part regarding extracting rich text and turns them into plain text. I just follow Dezhi's advice and I made it. Thanks!
