Hi, I have a form with a 'Your Name' combo box that is a Person/Group field where they can look up their name. I want to automatically populate this with the user's name, but still give them the ability to change it (since some might fill out the form for others).
Hi @Kellison ,Try using below formula in DefaultSelectedItems property of combobox - {Claims:"i:0#.f|membership|" & Lower(User().Email), Department:"", DisplayName: Office365Users.UserProfile(User().Email).DisplayName, Email:User().Email, JobTitle:"", Picture:""}Add Office 365 Users connector in Datasources section of your app.
Thank you!!! That worked beautifully!
@Kellison 1. DefaultSelectedItems property of ComboBox
{ DisplayName: User().FullName, Email: User().Email }
2. For a simple example where they can change it to someone else from your organization,
use this formula for Items property of same ComboBox
Office365Users.SearchUserV2({isSearchTermRequired:false}).value
3. Toggle this off to allow only one selection in the combobox if needed
Check if it helps @Kellison
Hi @Kellison ,Also add a check to the formula so that it will only add current logged in user when the field is blank or form is in new mode - If(IsBlank(Parent.Default), {Claims:"i:0#.f|membership|" & Lower(User().Email), Department:"", DisplayName: Office365Users.UserProfile(User().Email).DisplayName, Email:User().Email, JobTitle:"", Picture:""}, Parent.Default)
