creating collections for each items in a gallery

here in gallery i get an item with two date range, i want to take all dates between this two date range and check if this dates exist in another collection or not.if all dates within this two date ranges are there in the collection then i can mark this file as success.

i am able to do it using two collections and two button click

i want to do it for each item in gallery without any action from user

is there any way to do it

Do you have any other use for the collections than checking if there's any overlap?

Otherwise it may be easier to use the following condition:

StartDateRange1 < StartDateRange2 && EndDateRange1 < StartDateRange2 && StartDateRange1 > EndDateRange2 && EndDateRange1 > EndDateRange2

Basically it checks if both the startdate and enddate of range 1 are before the startdate of range 2 and after the enddate of range 2. If any of this returns a false, it means there is an overlap between the ranges.

A simplified version is:

StartDateRange1 > EndDateRange2 || EndDateRange1<StartDateRange2

This checks if range1 starts after range2 end or range1 ends before range2 starts.
