Hi all,

Is it possible to create a button with powerapps and with Power Automate and Microsoft Flow that changes values or disables records of a CSV numeric column?

The scenario is:

I have a csv file in the datalake with the names of the employees, and the goal is to create an app that Manager's can chooses the employee and click the button to remove that employee in the Employee column in the CSV file. And my power bi report is linked to those files that are in the data lake, that is, when you refresh the report, the employee's name will no longer be in the table. The combo box of employee names in the power apps will be "PowerBIIntegration.Data.Employee". It's possible ?

Kind regards.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Power Apps and Power Automate can't do crud operations on CSV files. However you could use CDS as middle layer.
Discussing with a colleague we understand that a possible path would be create a data flow to pull data from CSV in CDS, from CDS use powerapps to change the data and then write back the data to the data lake.

I believe that data lake data should be raw data and should not be changed - Perhaps you could write back the changes to the data lake in a different CSV file.
