Any way to be able to view the source Excel files (Onedrive-linked) without them locking for users of the PowerApp

So if I connect a data source in Excel via OneDrive to my PowerApp - whenever that Excel file is directly opened on a computer, the app stops being able to access it. Is there any way I can get the file opened locally on my computer and not block the app from working?

    no--if anybody opens the file it locks the file and the app won't work.
