Launching an URL from a datacard

I have a form based on a SP list, one of the columns is an URL to a location in SP for that item.

Is there a way to be able to klic on the URL so that it opens the location of that file ?

I've tried Launch but then I need to enter a specific URL but in this case the URL I want to 'launch' is the value of that datacard

In the OnSelect property of the datacardvalue, you could use

Launch(Self.Text)

@shoog i was to fast because that option works when in Edit mode, but in View mode that launch option doesn't work

That's by design I'm affraid, OnSelect only gets triggered in Edit displaymode, not in View displaymode.

any creative way around that ? like adding a button with that url in it or something

If you it's ok the value is editable, you could force the datacardvalue displaymode to edit (instead of the default Parent displaymode).

If not, you could replace the datacardvalue with a label (inside the datacard) in edit mode, making it not editable even in edit mode.
