Working With Collections (ultrapassing the limits maybe?)

Hello Guys, I have an excel table with 35k records, I can reduce this to around 18-20k records.

I need to do a LookUp on PowerApps based on a record and return a record on this large database...

I tested to work with this Excel file as a Collection on powerapps onVisible, then I counted the rows of the collections and it resulted on 4000....Wich is not What I want...

Anyone knows how can I achiev this? If is there a way to do this?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Why do you save your Excel table data source as a collection within your app?

I afraid that you have upped to the threshold of the number of records a Collection could cached within a PowerApps app.

Currently, we could not find any online doc about the threshold of the number of records a Collection could cached within PowerApps.

    Best regards,

    Kris

I did that because I read here on the forum, somewhere, that collections did not have a row limit.

If I only upload the excel data table, the CountRows function returns only 2000 rows, instead of 4000 on a collection.

So the collection is better right?

Im afraid I cant reach this then 😞
